    Teen who fled home over hubbly-bubbly still missing

    Welkom police in are still looking for a 14-year-old learner from Teta High School in the town who was last seen on December 21 last year.

    Morena Gift Lentor is said to have left home in a huff at about 06:45 after he was questioned by his mother about a hubbly-bubbly cigarette she had found in his trouser pocket while doing laundry.

    He denied any knowledge before leaving the house.

    A few hours later at about 10:00 he was seen walking near Monatisa Shop close to Thotagauta High School also in Thabong and never returned home.

    On the day he was wearing a long-sleeve grey T-Shirt, a pair of black jean trousers and Nike tekkies.

    The case is now being handled by the Lejweleputswa Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit.
