Four Bangladeshi nationals have been missing for over a week after they left their home in a Free State town with the intention to buy stock for their businesses, according to the police.
The four men — Mukit Rasel Abdul, 37, Khurseed Alam Noakhali, 33, Sindur Hossain Noakhali and Moshim Mahommed, 35 — left Winburg on August 25 going to Welkom where they were to restock but never reached the gold mining town.
They were travelling in a white Honda vehicle (model unknown) with the Lesotho registration number RY708.
It is believed they had about R70 000 cash on them.
Mahommed Abdul Haque, a brother to one of the missing men, told the police when he made a missing persons report that the other three were friends to his brother.
Abdul is medium-built with medium-length black hair and a fair complexion. He was wearing round glasses, a white pair of trousers, white shoes, orange T-Shirt and a cap on the day he disappeared.
Khurseed Noakhali has a plump body, frizzy black hair and also wore glasses on the day. The only mentioned clothing he was wearing is a blue pair of jeans.
Sindur Noakhali is also plumpy and has black short hair. He was wearing a brown jacket and a blue pair of jeans.
Mahommed was wearing a black pair of trousers and a brown jacket, and is average built standing at about 1.7 metres tall. He has short black hair with no beard and is brown in complexion.
