Bizana Pondo Chiefs have completed the signing of former Bloemfontein Celtic striker Lerato Manzini.
The former Phunya Sele Sele striker has teamed up with new coach Clinton Larsen again after they worked together at Celtic.
Manzini’s signing comes soon after the club signed former Golden Arrows midfielder Sandile Zuke and midfielder Masibusane Zongo.
“Manzini is our player, we have signed him,” Chiefs boss Nkosinathi Mqokiyane confirms to KickOff.com.
“We have no doubt that the club will gain a lot of experience from him both on and off the field.”
Mqokiyane has also revealed the reason behind bringing in Larsen to coach the team.
“Clinton Larsen is a PSL coach. He has a lot of experience in the game. We want to move away from the relegation zone,” he adds.
Chiefs are currently sitting at the bottom of the GladAfrica Championship with 14 points after 18 games. – KickOff.com
